THE WAY TO HAPPINESS FOUNDATION

One Colombian army general was so taken with the work that he had 30,000 copies distributed to soldiers fighting the drug war. Yet another general urged judges in Colombia’s demoralized justice system to follow The Way to Happiness to restore justice in the country.

Colombia’s Minister of Education endorsed the booklet, announced a “Set a Good Example” contest, and suggested all teachers, alumni, directors of education and parents organize classrooms where The Way to Happiness would be available to help people discuss and handle their problems.

In Mexico, gangs in the cities of Ensenada and Tijuana are using The Way to Happiness to get other gang members to reform. A gang leader in Tijuana got gang members educated in the precepts of The Way to Happiness and created a mural competition in which gang members depicted these precepts from the booklet. And in another contest in Ensenada, twenty-three murals were painted. Through The Way to Happiness, gang members in the area are being transformed into contributing members of society.
