What is Scientology?
Based on the Works of L. Ron Hubbard

Part Twelve

A Scientology Catechism

Throughout history, religions have traditionally published summaries of their basic principles in catechism form. The following chapter will answer some of the most commonly asked questions people have about the fundamentals of Dianetics and Scientology.

When individuals first hear about the subject, their questions are usually quite diverse. They range from “Why is Scientology called a religion?” and “What is the difference between Dianetics and Scientology?” to “Who was L. Ron Hubbard?” to “What is the E-Meter and how does it work?”

These questions, and many others, are answered in the following pages.
