THE GRADE CHART: AUDITING TO HIGHER STATES OF EXISTENCE

Expanded Grade I

What distinguishes civilized man as MAN is that he is mired in PROBLEMS which just get worse the more he tries to “solve” them.

The being who can recognize the actual source of problems and so see them vanish is too rare to be easily comprehended. A being in a higher state looks at them and they “vanish” – meaning they cease to be problems.

The mechanisms and phenomena surrounding problems have never, before Scientology, been examined or understood. The breakthrough came when L. Ron Hubbard identified a precise mechanism common to all problems.

Through the auditing procedures of Expanded Grade I, the preclear gains the ability to recognize the actual source of problems, at which point they cease to be problems.
