APPLIED SCHOLASTICS: A REVOLUTION IN EDUCATION

As early as 1950, L. Ron Hubbard expressed his deep concern over the poor quality of so-called “modern” education.

“Today’s children will become tomorrow’s civilization,” he wrote. “The end and goal of any society as it addresses the problem of education is to raise the ability, the initiative and the cultural level, and with all these the survival level of that society. And when a society forgets any one of these things it is destroying itself by its own educational mediums.”

Decades later, Mr. Hubbard’s observation has proven accurate. And, unless the deterioration of society’s educational systems is arrested, continued societal disintegration can be predicted. There is hope, however, for Mr. Hubbard developed breakthrough educational technology capable of turning schools into institutions of unprecedented learning excellence, and of transforming today’s alarmingly widespread illiteracy into new vistas of opportunity.
