THE BONA FIDES OF THE SCIENTOLOGY RELIGION


In Baden-Württemberg on August 2, 1995, the court again held the Church of Scientology to be a religious entity.

The County Court of Freiburg im Breisgau, on February 6, 1996, ruled:

“Under no circumstances can it be accepted that the Church of Scientology is denied the protection of Article 4, paragraph 2 of the Constitution,” the provision which guarantees freedom of religion.

In Italy, in the case of State v. Eight Defendants, the Trento Court of Appeals made the following finding:
