DEMOGRAPHIC AND STATISTICAL FACTS ABOUT THE SCIENTOLOGY RELIGION

SOCIAL BETTERMENT AND REFORM ACTIVITIES

NUMBER OF SOCIAL BETTERMENT GROUPS

[image] One way the Church of Scientology and its members actively participate in bettering society is by establishing non-church groups and organizations around the world. Using L. Ron Hubbard’s technology, Scientologists help children with school and study problems, work to rehabilitate drug addicts and criminals, and bring about a safer environment through programs to increase moral values. The graph to the right shows the number of officially established and recognized groups using L. Ron Hubbard’s technology to better social problems. There are many thousands of others less formally organized and not reflected in these figures, but no less dedicated or effective.
