AUDITOR TRAINING PROGRESS NUMBER OF STUDENT POINTS ACHIEVED ON SCIENTOLOGY COURSES WORLDWIDE (NOT CUMULATIVE)

Because the state of Clear is accomplished through auditing, the training of auditors is the prime focus of Scientology organizations worldwide. The measure of a Scientologist’s progress through his auditor training is reflected in a points system developed by L. Ron Hubbard in the 1950s. (A point value is given to each item one studies. These values are added up at the end of each study period so the Scientologist can see his progress that day. Supervisors use these statistics to monitor individual progress and provide any needed assistance.) With today’s Golden Age of Tech (technology) training programs (see Chapter 14), progress in the study of Scientology has dramatically increased, both in quality and quantity, with a more than 50 percent increase in annual points in less than a decade.
