THE WAY TO HAPPINESS FOUNDATION

A director of a community improvement association in south central Los Angeles said, “The statistics for major crime in this area have been considerably down for each of the first four months of the year. I know that the distribution of 16,000 The Way to Happiness booklets has had a lot to do with this. With the tool of this booklet, we are winning and will have a final victory over the degradation that surrounds us.”

Many other campaigns have been sponsored around the world. In the South African township of Soweto, a campaign based on the precept “Safeguard and Improve Your Environment” was supported by the largest food chain in the country and two major labor unions. Still another campaign in the South African city of Pietermaritzburg in the province of Natal was highly successful in easing racial tensions. And in 1992, the South African police requested 114,000 copies of The Way to Happiness – one for every policeman in the country.

The booklet has been in such demand throughout South Africa that it was translated into Zulu and more than 130,000 copies were printed and distributed in the Zulu newspaper Ilanga.
