Not Understanding the Auditor’s Code

The Auditor’s Code (see Chapter 40) is the governing set of rules for the general activity of auditing. The preclear should understand that the auditor is guided in his conduct as an auditor by the Auditor’s Code. One point of the Code states that he is not allowed to sympathize with the preclear, but instead must be effective in helping the preclear. He also is trained not to evaluate for a preclear or to tell him what to think about his case in session.
