Following the release of Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health, Mr. Hubbard gave a special course in Dianetics to an audience in Oakland, California, eager to find out more about this breakthrough technology. In a series of four lectures, he discusses engrams, the handling of grief in a preclear, how to get preclears who are having difficulty moving again, and other new developments in Dianetics. One of these lectures includes an actual session, demonstrating the techniques of Dianetics auditing — conducted by Mr. Hubbard himself.
